I just found this website a few minutes ago and filled out the Membership form. I was stationed at PAFB from 24 December 1979 until 2 August 1982, and was assigned to OMS from 1 June 1980 to 2 August 1982. I'm glad to see that the spirit of our Squadron is still alive. I was in 21 years total, retiring in 1997, and this was the best Squadron I ever had the honor and pleasure to serve with. I see a few familiar names--Jim Murray, Glenn Pacapelli, Tony Kowalick, "Buffalo Bob" Manchester, Dave Lawrence, Dick Stevens, Bob Dulong--it's fantastic to see your names again.....I had wondered for so long how things are going and how everybody is doing these days....with luck I will be at the reunion on 16 July. I live in Geneseo, about 40 minutes south of Rochester, and still am very involved with following aviation. Hope to see you guys later this year! |
